Florabama, Alabama is a place where you can sip ice tea and think about money and love. “If you had’em, you were free to think about other things. If you didn’t, you couldn’t think about anything else.”
After the news of the closing of the local lingerie factory, where Hilly Pruitt has spent her lifetime working in; Bonnie Duke was also downsized out of her marriage and picture-perfect life. Together, they join forces with other ex-bra seamstress in a community college homemakers program. They entered the one-year course in a mid-life survival mode, yet the warming journey and poignant story of this group of women alter the way they see the world and their place in it.
