Mother Goose – the imaginary author related to British literature collection of nursery rhymes of popularized in the 17th century has always been one of our favourite collection of writings. It appears here and there but never fails to captivate us with its playful rhymes. (“There was an old woman, lived under a hill; and if she’s not gone, she lives there still.)
In this copy is a beautiful rendition of the original 1881 edition, more than forty favourite nursery rhymes, brought to life with Kate Greenaway – one of the few children illustrator of the era.
